2025 Spring Election Candidates
President:
Ashley Lanni

Hey folks! It has been a pleasure being your first year and iConference rep this year and getting to know all of you. During my time in MUSSA and the program, I've come to see how attentiveness, careful planning, transparency, a commitment to hope and being open to learning is crucial to good leadership. As President of MUSSA, I aim to embody these values and foster further connections between all MMsT and CDP students. I would be here to listen to your needs and support you in achieving your goals while also creating new opportunities for us to come together as a program, faculty and profession. As someone with experience leading and project managing in professional settings, I believe I have the skills to steer MUSSA and help our community grow and excel. At my core, I love to listen, learn and help, so I hope I'll get the opportunity to do just that as your president in the 2025-2026 school year. And, as always, I am always free for a chat. :D
Vice-President:
Katelyn Law

Hello everyone! My name is Katelyn and I am applying for the Vice President role at MUSSA for the 2025-2026 school year. I will be a 2nd year CDP student next year, and I hope to be able to build community As the current secretary of MUSSA, I was able to learn all about the different processes of MUSSA and helped to record notes about events and updates through all the meetings. I also worked to highlight different MUSSA events to students. I hope to be able to use my knowledge about MUSSA and educational experiences to help organize and oversee different logistics throughout the year. Additionally, I have experience publishing email newsletters, allowing me to publish exciting updates to students in the MUSEletter. I will also be delighted to represent my fellow students in the Graduate Student Union and ensure we are equally represented. I hope that as Vice President, I can support my peers and provide spaces for conversation.
Social Chair:
Alexis Green

My name is Alexis, and I will be a second year MMst student in the 2025-26 school year. I spent my first year in the program as assistant to the social chair and would love to take on the role! I have ideas for events to be held in the upcoming year, which I hope will provide some much-needed breaks from schoolwork and help students meet one another outside of the classroom setting. This will hopefully include pub nights, museum movie screenings, and museum tours. I know how the role works and would like to build on the events I helped with this past year as your 2025-26 social chair.
